Conference play begins tonight as High School football moves into week 3

WAUSAU, Wis. (WXCO) – It’s a doubleheader night of high school football on 98.9 WXCO as week three of the 2025 season commences.

Wausau West (1-1 overall) plays host to Eau Claire North (0-2) in the Wisconsin Valley Conference opener for both teams. 6:35 p.m. airtime, 7 p.m. kickoff on 98.9 WXCO, online at wxco.fm, mobile devices by searching WXCO and on the Civic Media app. Also, tonight it’s Newman Catholic looking for a third straight win as the Cardinals travel to Almond-Bancroft. The game will air live on the Sports 2 Stream at wxco.fm and on the Civic Media app and also air on delay following the Wausau West game on 98.9 WXCO.
