Confirmed High End EF-0 Tornado by Rib Falls
WAUSAU, Wis. (WXCO) – The National Weather Service offices in Green Bay declared a tornado touched down and did damage in Marathon County.
A team of Meteorologists from the Green Bay NWS surveyed damage in Marathon County near Rib Falls on Friday. It was confirmed that a tornado touched down around 5:40 p.m. Thursday May 15 and produced wind speeds of 85 mph. Marking it a high-end EF-0 rated tornado.

No injuries were reported and the NWS says a couple barns and outbuildings had their walls collapse. This area is just 5 miles northeast of Marathon City, located in northcentral Wisconsin.

They also said that they may end up with two more confirmed tornadoes in Portage County but they are still processing data and looking for reports.
