Wisconsin Rapids, WI (WFHR, WIRI)

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters have announced Jake Adams as the team’s new Assistant General Manager. 2025 will be Jake’s third season in the Northwoods League after spending 2021 and 2022 with the Willmar Stingers.

Originally from Plymouth MN, Jake graduated from Saint John’s University (MN) in 2022 with a degree in Communications. In addition to the Northwoods League, he has spent time in Minor League Baseball as the Promotions Manager of the Charleston RiverDogs, and with the Minnesota United of the MLS as a member of their Game Presentation Team.

Jake is looking to bring a new chapter to the Rafters organization. “I am excited to join the Rafters organization and be a part of the community of Wisconsin Rapids and the surrounding area. This team, fanbase, and community has a lot of potential and I can’t wait to bring an exciting show to our fans.”
With his background in Marketing and Promotions, Jake will be taking the lead on revamping our Fan Experience and making every game at Historic Witter Field one to remember.
“When I was a kid, I would go to a lot of baseball games with my family. It didn’t matter if the team I was cheering for won or lost, if I had a good experience, we would be back again. I want to give every fan an experience they will never forget every game they come to.”
